Purpose of this site
Seasonplot provides educational garden-planning information based on historical climate normals and documented horticultural guidance. It is not a weather forecast, a guarantee of a frost-free period, or individualized agricultural advice.
Use local judgment
Actual conditions vary by season, variety, soil, exposure, elevation and location. Check current forecasts, seed-packet instructions and local extension recommendations before planting. You remain responsible for your gardening decisions.
