A highlighted half-month is the source’s level of detail. We do not turn its cells into exact dates or infer an indoor seed-starting schedule.

Match the establishment method

Direct sowing, transplanting, bulb planting, and tuber planting have their own rows where the source supplies them. A transplant window is not an indoor sowing date, and different methods may have different windows.

Use a local check before you plant

The calendar is a regional planning reference. Current frost risk, workable soil, garden exposure, and the cultivar you choose still matter. Neither a historical freeze date nor an annual calendar can guarantee successful establishment.

Read gaps with care

Unhighlighted periods mean this source supplies no planting window in that row. They are not a finding that a crop can never grow then. Crop names follow the source; linked vegetable guides connect them to the catalogue without inventing extra schedules.
